About JSS Science and Technology University Mysore
JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), formerly known as Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), is a private university located in Mysuru (Mysore), Karnataka. Established in 1963 and one of Karnataka's oldest and most prestigious engineering institutions, JSS STU received university status in 2020 under the Karnataka Private Universities Act. It is managed by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, the educational trust of the Suttur Math.
As a deemed-to-be university with its own degree-awarding powers, JSS STU admits students through its own entrance process and JEE Mains scores. It does not participate in KCET or COMEDK counselling as a private university. Admission details at jssstuniv.in.
