About Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology
Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) is a private engineering college located in Davangere, the geographic centre of Karnataka. Approved by AICTE and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), BIET is one of Davangere's most established engineering institutions, named in memory of Bapuji (Mahatma Gandhi's affectionate name). BIET is among the larger private engineering colleges in Davangere with significant intake across its BTech programmes and strong local brand recognition built over decades.

KCET: Qualify KCET and participate in KEA's online counselling. BIET is listed under Davangere district. Students from Davangere, Harihara, Honnali, Channagiri and Jagalur taluks choose BIET as a local option before considering Bangalore or Hubli colleges.
COMEDK: COMEDK qualifiers apply through COMEDK's centralised process for Karnataka private engineering colleges.
