Admission Process
KCET: Qualify KCET and participate in KEA's online counselling. PDACE is listed under Kalaburagi district. For students from Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir and Raichur districts, studying at PDACE avoids relocation to Bangalore and reduces total educational cost.
COMEDK: COMEDK UGET qualifiers apply through COMEDK's centralised process. PDACE's 480-seat intake ensures seat availability through multiple counselling rounds.
Religious Trust Management and Community Reach
Being associated with a respected Lingayat spiritual figure gives PDACE strong community recognition across the Kalaburagi-Bidar-Yadgir region. Parents and students from the Veerashaiva-Lingayat community, which is numerically dominant in Kalaburagi district, often choose PDACE due to the institutional trust associated with the Poojya Doddappa Appa lineage. This community trust translates into stable institutional management and a committed alumni network across North Karnataka.
Kalaburagi Industry and Employment Context
Kalaburagi is North Karnataka's commercial hub with significant cement manufacturing (UltraTech and ACC have major plants in the district), pharmaceutical industries and an emerging IT sector. Hyderabad is 190 km away — PDACE graduates compete effectively for Hyderabad IT positions given the geographic proximity. The Kalyana Karnataka Regional Development Board actively invests in Kalaburagi's industrial infrastructure, creating growing employment for Civil, Mechanical and EEE engineering graduates locally.
