Govt Polytechnic Chickballapura

Government Polytechnic Chikkaballapura is a state-run diploma-level technical institution under the Department of Collegiate and Technical Education (DCTE), Government of Karnataka, located in Chikkaballapura — the administrative headquarters of Chikkaballapura District, approximately 60 km north of Bangalore on the National Highway towards Hyderabad. Chikkaballapura was carved out from the former Kolar District as a separate district in 2007. The institution is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to the Board of Technical Examinations, Karnataka.

Government Polytechnic Chikkaballapura offers three-year Diploma programmes in core engineering disciplines including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering, following the KBTE curriculum.
