Bangalore-Mysuru Expressway Corridor
B.G. Nagara sits along the Bangalore-Mysuru corridor transformed by the 2023 expressway opening. Travel time between Bangalore and Mandya district dropped to under 60 minutes. This connectivity triggered significant residential, commercial and industrial development, creating construction demand that directly benefits BGSIT Civil Engineering graduates familiar with the region. Mandya's sugarcane economy and the Mysore Sugar Company (MYSUGAR) provide Mechanical Engineering students relevant local industry exposure in agro-processing and factory automation.
