About Bahubali College of Engineering
Bahubali College of Engineering (BCE) is a private engineering college located in Shravanabelagola Road, Hassan district, Karnataka. Approved by AICTE and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), BCE is named after Lord Bahubali — the colossal Jain monastic figure whose 57-foot monolithic statue at Shravanabelagola (25 km from Hassan) is one of Karnataka's most iconic heritage landmarks. With an intake of 300 students, BCE serves students from Hassan city and surrounding Hassan district taluks.
KCET and COMEDK UGET are the primary admission routes.

Hassan — Strategic Corridor Location
Hassan is located at the junction of major highways connecting Bangalore (188 km), Mangaluru (155 km) and Mysuru (119 km). Hassan Aerospace Park — a KIADB industrial area focused on aerospace and defence component manufacturing — is developing near Hassan and is expected to become a significant Mechanical Engineering employer. The Bangalore-Mangaluru and Hassan-Mysuru road corridors see active road infrastructure development, providing Civil Engineering employment locally.
Shravanabelagola Heritage Context
BCE's proximity to Shravanabelagola (25 km) — a significant Jain pilgrimage site attracting lakhs of visitors for the Mahamastakabhisheka ceremony every 12 years — gives the college a distinctive heritage setting. The tourism infrastructure development around Shravanabelagola and the broader Hassan heritage circuit (Hassan-Belur-Halebidu) creates civil engineering demand for temple town planning, heritage conservation civil works and tourism hospitality construction.
