Sapthagiri Multi-Faculty Campus
The Sapthagiri Trust's engineering and medical campus on Hesarghatta Road creates a distinctive interdisciplinary environment. MBBS students have neighbours in engineering and allied health sciences, creating cross-disciplinary awareness of medical technology, biomedical engineering and healthcare IT that increasingly intersect with clinical medicine. The shared campus infrastructure and joint institutional events add to the academic culture.
Hesarghatta Road — North Bangalore Industrial Corridor
SIMSRC's Hesarghatta Road location gives students proximity to Peenya Industrial Estate (8 km) — one of Asia's largest industrial zones — creating an occupational health medicine context for clinical training. The Devanahalli Aerospace Park (30 km) and the Bangalore-Doddaballapur industrial corridor are emerging employment zones accessible from this North Bangalore location. MBBS students access Bangalore city's full NEET-PG ecosystem throughout their 5-year programme given the campus's connectivity to the Nagasandra Metro station (Green Line).
Teaching Hospital and Clinical Training
SIMSRC operates a multi-specialty teaching hospital serving the Hesarghatta Road corridor and surrounding North Bangalore communities. The hospital's periurban catchment provides exposure to both urban presentations and the primary care patterns of North Bangalore's rapidly developing residential and industrial zones.
Career Scope
Sapthagiri MBBS graduates register with Karnataka Medical Council after internship. NEET-PG for MD/MS, Bangalore hospital employment in North and Central Bangalore, government medical officer recruitment and independent practice in North Bangalore's growing residential corridors are the primary career pathways.
Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences graduates benefit from Bangalore city access for NEET-PG preparation and Peenya Industrial Estate proximity for occupational medicine exposure during clinical training.
