North Bangalore Industrial Corridor
Hesarghatta Road in Bangalore North connects to the Tumkur Road industrial belt and Peenya Industrial Estate — one of Asia's largest industrial zones with over 15,000 manufacturing units. This industrial proximity gives SCE Mechanical and EEE students direct access to plant visits, industry lectures and internship opportunities in electronics component manufacturing, garments, precision engineering and industrial automation. The Devanahalli Aerospace Park (35 km away on the airport road from Hesarghatta) is developing into a major Mechanical and EEE engineering employer over the coming decade.
VTU North Bangalore Placement Zone
SCE participates in VTU's North Bangalore zone pooled campus placement drives. IT service companies including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL and Capgemini conduct pooled drives covering North Bangalore zone VTU colleges. CSE and ISE graduates access these drives alongside the Peenya-Tumkur Road industry employment market for Mechanical and EEE specialisations.
