Admission Process
KCET (Karnataka students): Qualify KCET through KEA and participate in online Option Entry counselling. BGSCET is listed under Bangalore Urban district in KEA's college list. For students from South and West Bangalore, Kengeri's Metro connectivity makes BGSCET particularly accessible as a day-scholar option.
COMEDK (all states): COMEDK UGET qualifiers apply through COMEDK's centralised counselling for Karnataka private colleges. BGSCET participates in COMEDK for all BTech branches.
Location — Kengeri and Metro Connectivity
Kengeri is the western terminus of Bangalore Metro's Purple Line. The metro connects Kengeri to Indiranagar, MG Road, Majestic and Whitefield in approximately 40–60 minutes. This metro access makes BGSCET one of the better-connected engineering colleges for Bangalore students who commute from East and Central Bangalore. The Mysuru Road corridor also hosts several IT parks and business parks, including Innovative Film City, providing industry proximity for internships and part-time work for senior students.
